Great Escape: Comedy Night at The Tinker's Son
Head on over for a few laughs at The Tinker's Son on Saturday for Comedy Night

The Tinker’s Son is well known on the South Shore as a local Irish pub where you can get a perfectly poured pint of Guinness. This weekend, instead of hosting live Irish entertainment on Saturday night, the folks here are hosting a comedy show starting at 8 p.m.
The headliner of the night’s laugh lineup features Paul Keenan, who appeared in the movie Mystic River and TV show Brotherhood. He was also the finalist in the Magner’s Comedy Contest and won the Plymouth Comedy Festival. Alicia Love, who has been in the Boston Comedy festival for two years, along with Kayla Avery and Bill Farrell will also be on hand for some more standup comedy. After the show, be sure to stick around for some live music from the Smoking Jackets.
Whether you come just for a few laughs at 8 p.m. or beforehand, the restaurant has a delicious menu to satisfy all of your cravings. Come to the restaurant early for a great seat for the show and enjoy some traditional Irish cuisine from Chef/Owner Brian Houlihan. Our favorite dishes are the fish and chips and traditional shepherd’s pie made with braised lamb shank.
