The Hingham Fire Department is responding to a two-alarm fire in the 300 block of East Street. There was heavy fire coming from the attic of the East Street home, according to reports. The fire broke out around 9:00 p.m. on Monday. This is the second fire on East Street this year.  A three-alarm blaze destroyed a home in the 200 block back in January that left a family homeless and killed a dog and rabbit.
