University of Hartford 

The University of Hartford is pleased to announce Stephanie Lessing of Hingham has been named to its Dean's List for Spring 2013. 

Wake Forest University

Savannah Maroney from Hingham, MA was named to the Spring 2013 Dean's List at Wake Forest University.

University of Delaware

Several local students have been named to the University of Delaware's Dean's List for Spring 2013.

Connecticut College 

• Cameron Flaherty, class of 2013 at Connecticut College and a resident of Hingham, has been named to the Dean's Honors list.

• Christine Connolly, class of 2016 at Connecticut College and a resident of Hingham, has been named to the Dean's High Honors list.

• Claire von Loesecke, class of 2015 at Connecticut College and a resident of Hingham, has been named to the Dean's Honors list.

• Emily Hines, class of 2013 at Connecticut College and a resident of Hingham, has been named to the Dean's High Honors list.

• Joseph Kringdon, class of 2013 at Connecticut College and a resident of Hingham, has been named to the Dean's High Honors list.

Graduates

Colby College

Colby President William D. Adams handed a diploma to each of the graduates.

Kurt R. Cawley of Hingham, the son of Richard and Laura Cawley of Hingham, Mass., majored in American studies and is a graduate of Hingham High School.

Jillian H. Sullivan of Hingham, the daughter of Brian and Karin Sullivan of Hingham, Mass., majored in history and is a graduate of Hingham High School.

The Loomis Chaffee School

Shannon McCabe of Hingham graduated from The Loomis Chaffee School. McCabe was inducted into the Cum Laude Society, and the National Independent School Honor Society. She received Junior History Department, English Department, and Science Department honors, and Senior Science Department and English Department honors. She was a school prefect and resident assistant, as well as the editor-in-chief of the school yearbook, The Confluence. She also played viola in the Loomis Chaffee Orchestra, and was a member of the girls varsity cross-country team. 

Elmira College

Elmira College held its 158th Commencement on Sunday, June 2nd at the First Arena, in Elmira, New York.  Lindsey Genovese of Hingham, MA, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Gettysburg College

Garrett Lincoln of Hingham graduated from Gettysburg College on May 19, 2013. Lincoln majored in Health Sciences.

Kelly McCracken of Hingham graduated from Gettysburg College on May 19, 2013. McCracken majored in Economics.

Michael Savery of Hingham graduated from Gettysburg College on May 19, 2013. Savery majored in Political Science.
