Hingham Boys Lacrosse to Play In Playoff Quarterfinals Tonight

Hingham will play tonight at 5 p.m. against Winchester HS.

The #3 ranked Hingham High School boys lacrosse team has advanced to the Quarter Finals of the   2011 MIAA Boys Lacrosse East Division 2 State Tournament.

Today Hingham will play at home against the #6 ranked Winchester High School at 5 p.m.

In the preliminary round the Harbormen knocked out the #30 seed Whitman-Hanson by defeating them 11-3. In the first found they defeated #14 seed Catholic Memorial, 11-4.

In the last round, it took Winchester three overtimes to defeat the #22 ranked Bishop Feehan High School.

This year the home teams have fared well in the tournament, as the top seven seeds still remain, and Hingham is looking to continue the trend tonight.
