Hingham Chef to Appear on CBS Early Show

Hingham Chef Kevin Long will appear on the CBS Early Show on Saturday morning and will be asked to put his cooking skills to the test.

Long, the Executive Chef of and in Hingham will be featured on the show’s segment “Chef on a Shoestring."

According to Tosca's media spokeswomen Julie Loftus,  Long has been challenged to create a three course meal for four people for under $40. 

CBS is calling on all viewers to vote for one of the three delectable entrees he has submitted for consideration, including Flattened 5-Spice Chicken, Shrine Mongolian Skirt Steak and Chinese Char Sui Pork Wraps.

To cast a vote, fans of Chef Long should visit CBSNews.com/Saturday this weekend. The winning dish will be featured during Chef Long’s appearance, along with a refreshing spring salad and dessert.

In addition to being a chef in Hingham, Lon is also the executive chef of SHRINE at MGM Grand at Foxwoods, The Scorpion Bar and High Rollers at Foxwoods Resort Casino, and the soon-to-open Red Lantern in Boston’s Back Bay.
