Incumbent Selectman John Riley will run against Irma Lauter and Bernard Manning in what is expected to be the closest race on the ballot.
McCracken said another interesting race will be the Town Moderator spot . For the first time in 45 years, Hingham will see a new moderator as 85-year-old Tom O’Donnell will not seek reelection. Saturday’s newly elected Moderator will also go right to work as they must moderate Articles 45-62 on the third night of Town Meeting on Monday night.
