Hingham Girls Lax On Fire, Start Season 2-0
In their first two games the Harborwomen have outscored their opponents by a score of 39-5.

The girls lacrosse team is off to a hot start to their season, winning their first two games by double-digit margins. In their first two games the Harborwomen have outscored their opponents by a score of 39-5 and at least 12 different players have contributed goals in each game.
On Monday Hingham’s Ali Burns scored 4 goals and added an assist to lead the Harborwomen to a 20-3 victory over Silver Lake Regional High School. In the victory 14 different Harborwomen scored.
Hingham coach Katherine Creedon also saw major contributions from Laura Fisher and Katie Landry who each had 3 goals and 1 assist.

In net, goalie Alison Argiro saved 50 percent of her shots and only allowed 3 goals.
On Friday, the girls lacrosse team won their season opener over Bishop Feehan, a private school in Attleboro, by a score of 19-2.

In the season opener, 12 Harborwomen scored goals. Hingham’s Abby Phelan led the team with 3 goals and 2 assists. Caroline Bailey and Landry also each had 3 goals and 1 assist and Fisher also found the back of the net three times.
Argiro has 9 saves in the win.
The girls will play next on Wednesday against Notre Dame Academy.
