Hingham Issues Outdoor Town Meeting Guidelines
Town meeting members must wear face masks, stand 10 feet apart and the microphone will be sanitized after every speaker.
HINGHAM, MA — Hingham town officials have issued a series of guidelines that town meeting members will be expected to follow as the town looks to hold an unprecedented outdoor annual town meeting on the high school football field on June 20.
The town meeting will start at 2 p.m with a rain date of June 21.
Town meeting members attendees will be asked to wear a face covering at all times, including while waiting in line to register, unless there is a medical exemption. Coverings must cover the nose and mouth, and fit snugly against the side of the face.

Attendees are encouraged to wear sunscreen and bring water, as well as umbrellas for shade.
They will be asked to remain seated 10 feet apart, with hand-sanitizing stations available. Microphones will be sanitized after each use.

Restrooms will be available and will be cleaned and sanitized frequently, as needed. A cooling station will be available near the restrooms and water stations will be available throughout the stadium.
