The two best teams in the NHL Eastern Conference will square off tonight at the TD Garden in Boston, but Hingham fans may be rooting for one player on the away team.
When the Boston Bruins play the New York Rangers tonight, some Hingham residents will be rooting for Ranger's Center Brian Boyle who was born and raised in Hingham.
Boyle, age 27, who played high school hockey at St. Sebastian's School in Needham before attending Boston College, has 5 goals and 10 assists this season for the first place Rangers.

This is the second of four match-ups between the Bruins and Rangers this season. The Rangers won 3-2 in overtime in their fist meeting on Jan. 21 in Boston.
