Hingham NHL Star May Miss Game 7 with Concussion
Brian Boyle may be sidelined for a second straight game with a concussion.

While many residents will be watching the Boston Bruins Game 7 matchup against the Washington Capitals tonight, Hingham’s own Brian Boyle and the New York Rangers will be involved in a Game 7 of their own on Thursday.
The Rangers will take on the Ottawa Senators at Madison Square Garden Thursday in the final game of their best of 7 playoff series, but Hingham native Brian Boyle may be sidelined for a second straight game with a concussion.
In Game 5 of the series on Saturday, Boyle suffered a concussion after Senators All Star Chris Neil crushed him with a devastating hit. Boyle got up and skated slowly back to the bench. He played three more shifts in the final frame before leaving the game, according to ESPN.

Neil was not penalized or suspended for the hit but Rangers Coach and Boston area native John Tortorella called it "a dangerous, dangerous cheap hit," ESPN reported.
The hit forced Boyle to miss Monday night’s game, in which the Rangers won. In the win, Rangers forward Brandon Prust attempted to get some revenge against Neil by fighting him, which sparked his team, NHL.com reported.
