Hingham Police Release New Photos of Upskirting Suspect
Police continue to seek information on an upskirting incident at Barnes and Noble from earlier this month.
From the Hingham Police Department:
Police continue to investigate an incident of “Upskirting” which took place Saturday, August 15, 2015, at approximately 7:55 p.m. inside the Barnes & Noble Bookstore at the Derby Street Shoppes.
A customer reported that she noticed a man who was near her but was not aware of his intentions until she felt something graze her leg. She then noticed the man had put a phone under her skirt. She immediately told the store manager. The man had left before officers arrived.

He was described as Asian, approximately 30 years old, about 5’9”, dark brown eyes, medium build, dark hair that was shaved on the sides and longer on top, and wearing thick glasses. He was wearing a bright green tee shirt with the logo “BEAT CA” on the front and Boston Celtics logo on the back. He was wearing sneakers and shorts with pattern (possibly camouflage). As he walked out of the store he was wearing a plaid unbuttoned long sleeve shirt.
After the initial description was released another customer contacted Detectives because she had noticed a man fitting the description the night before inside the same store. She did not witness the man commit any crime but felt his behavior was suspicious enough that she took photos of him with her phone.

Surveillance video shows the suspect was carrying an iced drink possibly from the snack bar inside the bookstore. The photos taken by the customer appear to be the same suspect on the video. The video also shows multiple victims who were each apparently photographed more than once. They were not aware of his actions and to date only one victim has been identified.
