Hingham Resident Cheryl Pinarchick Named Professional Woman of the Year by NAPW

Prestigious distinction is awarded for "leadership in the law"

Murphy & King, P.C. announced today that Cheryl Pinarchick, Esq., a resident of Hingham, has been named a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW.) The award recognizes Pinarchick’s significant accomplishments in employment law and resolving complex business disputes among privately and publicly held companies, financial institutions, and individuals.

“I’m very grateful for the recognition from the National Association of Professional Women, which is a great resource to women in search of career and networking opportunities,” said Pinarchick. “Hopefully, this will encourage more women to enter the legal profession.”

With 600,000 members and nearly 300 local chapters, the NAPW is the largest, most-recognized networking organization of professional women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession.

Attorney Pinarchick is a shareholder at Murphy & King, where her clients include individuals and corporations. Her client work brings her before governmental bodies and state and federal courts throughout the United States. Pinarchick’s work in employment law and dispute resolution has previously been noted by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, which named her as a “Top Woman of Law” in 2012.

In addition to her work at Murphy & King, Pinarchick is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center which is devoted to providing experiential, outdoor learning opportunities to Boston’s under-served youth. She is also an inductee of the Temple University Athletics Hall of Fame and a 2012 recipient of the M. Robert Dushman Public Interest Award.
