Hingham Resident Named Medical Director for Network Development at NEBH
New England Baptist Hospital Promotes John Richmond, MD
John Richmond, MD, has been named Medical Director for Network Development at New England Baptist Hospital, a Boston-based premier regional provider for orthopedic surgery and the treatment of musculoskeletal diseases and disorders. Dr. Richmond will co-lead the development of the NEBH ambulatory network.
Dr. Richmond has held a number of senior positions including Chairman of Orthopedics at NEBH, Vice Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics and Director of the Sports Medicine Clinic at Tufts Medical Center, President of the Eastern Orthopedic Association, and head team physician for the Tufts University Athletic Department. Dr. Richmond holds an academic appointment as Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine. He is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine and the University of Pennsylvania.
