Hingham Residents Report Overnight Car Thefts
The following information was provided by the Hingham Police Department. Where arrests are mentions, it does not indicate a conviction.

Residents from the Rhodes Circle and Rhodes Place area reported that their vehicles were broken into Friday night into Saturday.
The Rhodes Circle resident told police that an iPod and a pack of cigarettes were stolen overnights from their unlocked car, according to an electronic message from the Hingham Police Department.
The Rhodes Place resident said that a large amount of construction tools stolen from the bed of their pick-up truck. The truck was parked in the street in front of the house.
"The truck's bed is covered by a Velcro cover. Officers found no signs of forced entry to the bed. The tools stolen include 2 electric meters, a Makita cordless tool kit and a Knipex tool set," police said.
