Hingham School Takes Caution After Suspicious Man Spotted By Children
East School principal Anthony Keady said there was no overt act by this man directed towards the children.

The East Elementary School contacted police on Thursday morning after two female students observed a suspicious man while walking to school and reported it to a crossing guard.
Hingham Police Sgt. Steven Dearth said the man, who was spotted on Rockwood Road, never approached the children.
In an email to parents, East School Principal Anthony Keady said Hingham officers talked to the students and did a visual check of the area and determined that there was no immediate threat evident.
