Hingham Woman Viciously Attacked by Rabid Raccoon
A Hingham woman is recovering from injuries sustained in an attack by a rabid raccoon, The Boston Globe is reporting.
An elderly Hingham woman was attacked by a rabid raccoon Wednesday morning while in bed at her home, The Boston Globe is reporting.
Ginny Ballou, 73, of Hingham, told a Globe reported that she awoke to find herself in a "vicious struggle" with the rabid animal and ended up needing 10 stitches to close a wound on her face.
