Hull Man Arrested for Throwing Dipping Sauce at Hingham Cop Car

A Hull man was arrested after he allegedly threw ranch dipping sauce at a moving police vehicle.

A Hull man was arrested early Sunday morning on Route 3A for throwing McDonald's ranch dipping sauce at a Hingham police cruiser.

Police Deputy Glenn Olsson said a Hingham officer was driving North on Broad Cove Road, Route 3A when his front driver's side windshield was struck by a white substance.

When police pulled over the vehicle,  a passenger who appeared intoxicated  admitted he was coming from McDonald's.

Police arrested the passenger, Kevin Wholey, 24 of Hull for malicious or wanton damage or defacement.
