If You See Police on Margett’s Field, Don’t Be Alarmed
A notice of police training operation in Hingham.

A larger size Hingham Police drill will take place on Margett's Field on Wednesday.
Residents should expect to see numerous police vehicles from many police departments on the Ward Street field from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Hingham Police said the drill might include up to 50 uniformed police officers. The training will include officers in the wooded areas around the field on Ward Street. It is possible some Officers may be visible from side roads nearby.

The training is a mock exercise of an abducted child conducted by Child Abduction Response Team (C.A.R.T.) of Metro-LEC, police said.
Several Hingham Officers are part of Metro-LEC which is a regional team of specialized officers from over 40 communities.
