Massachusetts Voter Registration Deadline Approaches

Hingham residents who want to vote in the 2012 presidential election and other federal and state races have one month left until the Massachusetts voter registration deadline.

The registration deadline is Wednesday, Oct 17. Typically the Hingham Town Clerk’s Office at the Town Hall is open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on the voter registration deadline day for in-person registrations. 

Residents can also download a mail-in voter registration form on the Secretary of the Commonwealth's website. Once that form is filled out and signed, it must be mailed to the Hingham Town Clerk's Office at the Town Hall and postmarked by Wednesday, Oct. 17 for you to be eligible to vote.

Registration forms also need to be filled out to declare a political party or due to change of name or address.

Note:

Precinct 2 is now part of the Fourth Norfolk District which James Murphy is the Representative.  The rest of the Town is a part of the Third Plymouth District which Garrett Bradley is the Representative.

Precincts 1, 2, 3 and 4 vote at the High School, 17 Union Street,

Precinct 5 and 6 will vote at the Middle School, 1103 Main Street,

Precinct 5A will be for Linden Ponds voters only.
