Middle School Tennis Courts To Be Used As Parking During Construction
While a construction team uses the Middle School faculty lot, teachers will park their vehicles on the school's tennis courts.

The Board of Selectmen agreed earlier this week to use the Middle School tennis courts as temporary faculty parking during the construction of the new school.
The Middle School faculty’s current parking will be used for construction workers.
This will save the town money because without the current parking lot, the construction team would have to rent out an additional storage area for their equipment and tools.

“As long as the tennis courts can be returned to their condition, it’s a good decision,” Selectman Laura Burns said.
Mary Mahoney, a Project Manager of the Middle School Project’s architectural and design firm Knights Bagge & Anderson, said any damage the construction team causes, they must fix.

Raymond Estes, School Building Committee Chairman, Raymond Estes said the faculty will park on the tennis courts along with additional space blocked off for temporary parking. According to Estes, the faculty parking lot will be off limits to teachers starting in June and lasting until June 2015.
Burns recommended any tennis player who currently uses the Middle School courts to use the South Shore Country Club’s courts as an alternative.
