Bridges by EPOCH at Hingham will host the presentation, “Music Therapy: Sounds of Their Lives,” on Monday, Oct. 6 at 4 p.m. Music can spark compelling outcomes for individuals with memory impairment. For individuals in the early stages, music therapy can help them maintain cognitive levels and enhance brain functioning; in the later stages, music provides individuals with a way to connect even after verbal communication becomes difficult. Bridges Executive Director and Memory Impairment Specialist Alicia Seaver will lead the presentation and discuss how caregivers can use music to enhance the quality of life for their loved ones. For more information or to RSVP, please call 781-749-7114 or visit www.bridgesbyepoch.com. Bridges by EPOCH at Hingham is located at 1 Sgt. William B. Terry Drive.
