Notre Dame Academy Shares Prayer in Wake of Marathon

Sister Barabara Barry said the school is praying for students, alumnae, parents, and faculty who may have been part of the Boston Marathon activities on Monday either as runners, workers, or spectators.

As school resumed at Notre Dame Academy on Monday, Sister Barbara Barry sent a message to students, teachers and alumnae, asking for prayers.

Barry said the school's campus in Hingham is praying for students, alumnae, parents, and faculty who may have been part of the Boston Marathon activities on Monday either as runners, workers, or spectators.

“We once again find ourselves asking “Why?” after another horrific event shakes us to the core,” Barry said in a message to the school. “…Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during these difficult days. Know that our good God holds you in a warm embrace.”
