OCMS Celebrates Christmas In The Square Tonight

Old Colony Montessori School Celebrates Christmas In The Square

December 4, 2015 - Hingham, MA - Old Colony Montessori School (OCMS) Elementary and full-day Children’s House (encompassing preschool and full-day kindergarten years) students will be singing again this year at Christmas In the Square.

OCMS will take the stage at 6:15pm, just prior to Santa’s big arrival via firetruck at 6:30pm, and will lead the crowd in singing holiday favorites and classic cultural tunes from around the world. OCMS will be handing out 300 silver handbells to children in the crowd to ring as Santa pulls into town at the conclusion of their performance.

Led by OCMS head teacher Megg Rowan and OCMS music director (and Percussion Director at South Shore Conservatory), Ed Sorrentino, the students, dressed in matching OCMS winter hats and playing various musical instruments, will proudly showcase their hard work and excitement for this much-anticipated Hingham Downtown tradition.
