Last weekend, the Old Colony Montessori School (OCMS) won the Spirit Award for their entry into the Hingham Mother’s Club 10th Annual Festival of Trees.
The school’s “handprint” tree received the most cash donations/votes in the spirit competition and is pleased to have raised funds to be distributed to the Friends of the Homeless of the South Shore, the Claddagh Fund, and the HMC Scholarship Fund
“Working together to improve, strengthen and give back to the community since 1963, OCMS is thrilled to receive this honor and show of support during the school’s 50th Anniversary year,” the school Development Coordinator Courtney Palek said in a written statement.
