Organic French Fries Served Up To Support Local School

b.good restaurant, located in the Derby Street Shoppes in Hingham, MA, serves up fries to support Old Colony Montessori School.

Hingham, Massachusetts – b.good’s Hingham restaurant location (located at the Derby Street Shoppes) has teamed up with local organic gardens to present a very special “seasoned french fry” menu addition, only available on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at their Hingham location.

Students at Hingham’s Old Colony Montessori School (OCMS), under the direction of OCMS Organic Gardening instructor, and Cohasset’s Holly Hill Farm Education Director, Jon Belber, harvested potatoes, garlic and oregano from the OCMS organic gardens during the school’s early-fall harvest.

With additional ingredients supplemented by Holly Hill Farm, the OCMS harvest will be delivered to b.good and will be transformed into a delicious limited-time side order option.

Fifteen percent (15%) of the store’s sales (between 5:00pm and 7:00pm) on September 29, 2015 will be donated back to the OCMS Organic Gardening program.

Earlier this year, OCMS was featured in South Shore Living Magazine for their community service campaign directed towards Share Our Strength’s “No Kid Hungry”. Students harvested crops and used them in a cooking class at Norwell’s Good Life Kitchen (class fees were donated directly to No Kid Hungry on behalf of Good Life Kitchen and OCMS) and the school year ended with a farm-to-table celebration, also utilizing the harvest from the OCMS organic gardens.
