Phone Lines Down at Hingham Town Offices
The service is temporarily down due to a failure of the main phone system processor.

The phone lines to all Hingham Town offices including the police department, fire department and four public schools are temporarily out of service.
The service is down due to a failure of the main phone system processor at Town Hall, according to East School Principal Tony Keady who notified parents on Monday morning by email.
Anyone looking to report an emergency to the Hingham Police and Fire Departments should use 9-1-1, according to the police department’s Twitter page. For non emergencies, residents should call 781-740-0270.
