PHOTOS: Hingham High School Pep Rally
HHS students showed their Hingham Harbormen pride at the annual Pep Rally on Wednesday.
A sea of red and white filled Hingham High School’s gymnasium on Wednesday as the school rallied around the football team before their annual Thanksgiving Day game against Scituate.
Members of the football team and junior and senior girls' powder puff football teams were honored and cheered as they were introduced in front of the school. Athletic Director Margaret Conaty also made sure to recognize members of all the fall athletic teams including the Patriot League All Stars.
While it was expected that the Hingham High School dance team would stir up the crowd with a musical performance, it was a total surprise when members of the HHS faculty put on a dance of their own.

High School math teacher Eileen Hunt organized a group of over a dozen teachers to dance to the popular Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen’s hit “Good Time,” which got the students screaming and laughing. The dance was choreographed by HHS math teacher and wrestling coach Paul Canniff
After the 30 minute rally, Conaty encouraged students to attend Thursday’s home football game which will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the annual Turkey Trot race which will begin at 7:30 a.m.
