The Old Colony Montessori School in Hingham celebrated their 50th anniversary on Friday night at the Red Lion Inn in Cohasset.

The event included a silent and live auction, appetizers, cash bar and casino. 

Courtney Palek, the schools' Development Coordinator said the event raised  $40,000.
