Pick Up a Book, Pass It Around
Celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday March 2 by joining book lovers and the Hingham Barnes & Noble for Read Across America day.

The Barnes & Noble in Hingham is participating in a nation wide Read-a-Thon this weekend by reading the famous Dr. Seuss story, "The Lorax."
This year, the National Education Association, a group of more than 3.2 million educators who work to improve public schools, is calling on book lovers around the nation to take up the popular Dr. Seuss children's book published in 1971 about the lovable creature who fights to save the environment.
On Saturday in Hingham, the Barnes & Noble at the Derby Street Shoppes will be reading “The Lorax” to all Hingham children and their families who attend their story time at 11 a.m.
