Police Log: 7 Arrests Over The Weekend in Hingham, Dogs Hit By Car
The following excerpts are from the Hingham police log from Aug. 15-18. The arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

At 12:49 a.m. police arrested Mike Lamb of Hingham for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license after he was caught driving a motorized bike on Broad Cover Road. His license was suspended for operating under the influence of alcohol.
At 5:27 p.m. a caller reported a grass fire on Foley Beach Road.

At 2:42 p.m. a caller at the Stop & Shop on Lincoln Street reported two shoplifters.
At 9:47 p.m. a 23-year-old Hull man was arrested for driving with a suspended license on Lincoln Street.

Saturday, Aug 17:
At 3:27 a.m. a caller reported a car crashed into a pole on Daley Road and was on fire. Hingham Fire Department were called to extinguish the flames.
At 3:29 a.m. police arrested Daniel Ball, 41 of Weymouth for operating under the influence of liquor on West Street.
At 12:48 p.m. police arrested a 42 year-old man from Cumberland, Rhode Island for driving with a suspended license.
At 7:25 p.m. police arrested Lisa Durr, 50 of Newton Center for operating under the influence of liquor and Angie Savage,44 of New Bedford for indecent exposure, domestic assault and battery and drug possession. The arrest was made at the corner of Main Street and Blaisdell Road.
Sunday, August 18:
At 8:37 p.m. police arrested Eric Devine, 45 of South Dennis at the corner of High and Main Street for violating an abuse prevention order.
At 9:56 p.m. a caller reported a bat in the house on Harbor View Drive.
At 11:04 p.m. a caller reported a driver hit a Boston Terrier and Golden Retriever on Main Street near the South School. The dogs were rushed to the hospital.
At 10:26 p.m. a caller reported a stolen iPhone from the Hingham Shipyard.
