Police Log: Can Collector Mistaken For A Drunk, Road Rage Results in Threats

Tuesday, March 12:
At 7:11 a.m. a caller reported a suspicious male dressed in black and carrying a beer bottle was walking into the woods near Fottler Road. The caller was concerned for children’s safety in the neighborhood. Police responded and realized the man was collecting cans in the neighborhood and was not intoxicated.
At 9:59 a.m. a caller reported a truck hit a vehicle at the corner of South and Main Street and then drove away.

At 5:30 p.m. police arrested Devona Washington, 46 of Boston for shoplifting items worth more than $100 at the Kohl’s Department Store at the Derby Street Shoppes.
At 8:42 p.m. a caller reported a light pole was knocked down on Central Street and the wires began to smoke.

At 9:13 p.m. a caller reported an erratic driver in a truck was following him and threatening him on Hingham Street.
