Police Log: Shoplifter Detained, Hingham Man Arrested For OUI and Drugs, Pot Hole Causes Flat Tires

Saturday, March 9:

At  12:05 a.m. a caller reported a private plow at Ray’s Mobil Station on Whiting Street was dumping snow in the road on Whiting Street.

At 1:08 p.m. police arrested a 41 year-old Rockland resident for driving with an unregistered license.

At 7:09 p.m. a caller reported a pot hole caused two flat tires on the 100 block of Whiting Street.

At 8:42 p.m. police arrested a 20-year-old Hingham man for operating under the influence of alcohol and drug possession. SEE STORY.

At 8:44 p.m. a female shoplifter was detained at the Kohl’s Department Store.

At 10:03 p.m. a caller reported a dead deer in the middle of Main Street in front of Notre Dame Academy.

Sunday, March 10:

At 12:51 a.m. a caller reported kids throwing bottles in the road on Nokomis Road.
