Police Log: Drunken Driver Crashes into Tree in Hingham

Monday, July 29:
At 1:32 a.m. police arrested Stephen O’Brien, 26 of Rockland for operating under the influence of liquor after he crashed his vehicle into tree on Gardner Street. O’Brien was rushed to South Shore Hospital with injuries and was arrested when he was released. He was not wearing a seat belt
At 6:07 a.m. police arrested a 56-year-old Scituate man for driving with a suspended license on Broad Cove Road.
At 6:55 p.m. a caller reported kids jumping off the pier by the commuter boats at the Shipyard.
