December 305:36 p.m. - Rockland Trust reported a male in the bank attempting to pass a counterfeit check. The bank verified with the customer that owns the account that the check was a counterfeit. By the time police arrived, the male left and the ID and check were taken as evidence.January 43:37 a.m. - Police responded to a car that struck a pole on Abington Street. After arriving on the scene, Patrick Fennell, 19, of Weymouth, was arrested and charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating under the influence of liquor, and a marked lance violation.
