Police Log: Hingham Man Arrested for OUI, Caller Accuses Neighbor of Stealing Leaf Blower

Tuesday, November 13:

At 1:04 a.m. a caller at Kohl’s Department Store reported a female shoplifter was in custody.

At 10:48 p.m. police arrested a 24-year-old Weymouth man for driving with a suspended license at Muzzis Corner.

Wednesday, November 14:

At 3:17 p.m. a caller on Lyndon Road reported her neighbor stole her extension cord and leaf blower.

At 11:29 p.m. police arrested Hugh McLaughlin, age 48 of Hingham for operating under the influence of alcohol.  The arrest was made at the corner of Cushing and Main Street.

Thursday, November 15:

At 9:40 p.m. a caller reported a deer was hit by a vehicle in the 900 block of Main Street.
