Police Log: Man Falls from Ladder, Wires on Fire, Youths Drinking

The following excerpt is from the Hingham police log from Thursday, June 7 to Friday, June 8.

Thursday, June 6:

At 3:05 p.m. a caller reported a male fell from a ladder on Seal Cove Lane.  The man was conscious but was transported to the hospital.

At 6:30 p.m. a caller reported a strong odor of natural gas at the Kilby Street/Summer Street intersection.

At 9:00 p.m. a caller reported kids drinking on Great Lock Road.

Friday, June 7:

At 12:19 p.m. a caller reported a family of geese in the middle of Whiting Street near Nino’s.  A vehicle struck one of the ducklings.

At 5:26 p.m. a caller reported wires caught fire on French Street.  The Hingham Fire Department was called to extinguish the flames.
