Police Log: Man Plays ‘Chicken’ With Train, Stolen iPad

Thursday, July 18:
At 12:47 a.m. a caller at the Allerton House reported two youths running into the woods.
At 10:38 a.m. a caller reported a dog jumped into her car on Cushing Street. Animal Control was contacted and the dog was returned to the owner.

At 11:04 a.m. a caller reported a white male with a beard was playing “chicken” with the train on the MBTA commuter rail tracks on Water Street.
At 3:04 p.m. police arrested a 24-year-old Quincy man for driving with a suspended license on Summer Street.

At 5:35 p.m. a caller reported a gas leak at a home in the 600 block of Main Street.
At 11:58 p.m. a caller at the Derby Street Shoppes reported her iPad was stolen.
