Police Log: Man Without Pants Spotted at Wompatuck

Thursday, April 25:

At 11:56 p.m. a caller reported a vehicle struck a deer on West Street.

At 12:00 p.m. police responded to a verbal altercation at Marshalls.  A person accused another person of stealing his wallet and then realized the accusation was a mistake.  Once police arrived, peace was restored.

At 2:04 p.m. a caller reported he was bit by a id sized sheep dog.

At 2:52 p.m. a female shoplifter was detained at Kohl’s Department Store.

At 3:57 p.m. security detained two female shoplifters at Kohl’s Department Store. 

Saturday, April 27:

At 2:17 a.m. police arrested James McCarthy, age 27 of Beals Cove Road, Hingham was arrested at the Ocean Kai Restaurant for drug possession.

At  8:37 a.m. employees at the Black Rock Country club reported ongoing camp fires being lit on the golf grounds.

At 10:30 a.m. a caller reported a suspicious man at Wompatuck State Park pulled down his pants and buried something.

At 11:21 a.m. a caller reported a neighbor blaring talk radio on Tupelo Drive, and she wants it turned down.

At 3:12 p.m.  a caller reported a mulch fire at the 99 Restaurant.

At 10:13 p.m. police arrested Kathryn Curran, age 31 of Weymouth for operating under the influence of alcohol (second offense) at the intersection of Main Street and Pine Grove Road.

Sunday, April 28:

At 1:27 p.m. a caller reported the woods were on fire at Del Prete Drive.

At 3:50 p.m. a caller reported a small dog was attacked by a pit bull on Lincoln Street.
