Police Log: OUI, Egging Homes, and More

The following is from the Hingham Police Log. Where arrests and charges are mentioned, they do not imply conviction.

April 2

1:12 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Cushing Street, Thomas Greenwood III, 28, of Abington, was arrested and charged with a marked lanes violation, negligent operating to endanger, and operating under the influence of liquor.


April 4

10:37 p.m. - A caller on Grenadier Road reported a group of youths egging homes. The youths were gone by the time police arrived.

7:47 p.m. - A caller reported a vehicle all over HMS Essington Drive, at one point hitting the sidewalk. The vehicle then took a right into a parking lot at the Hingham Shipyard, stopping at the T stop on Essington Drive before going over the island. Police arrested Jacqueline Murphy, 52, of Quincy and charged her with operating under the influence of liquor, operating a motor vehicle negligently, and a marked lanes violation.
