Police Log: Pig Runs Wild Through Hingham, Man Spotted With Riffle

Thursday, March 14:

At 1:41 a.m.  police arrested Nocholas Vaughn, 27 of Norwell for operating under the influence of alcohol at the intersection of Constitution Road and Main Street.

At 10:31 a.m. workers at the old Summer Shack building reported they hit a pipe and needed the water shut down.  The water leak was eventually stopped.

At 2:53 p.m. a caller reported a dead cat in the middle of Abington Street.

At 6:31 p.m. a caller reported a very large pig running in the middle of the intersection of Main Street and Cushing Street.

Friday, March 15:

At 3:51 p.m. a caller reported a man was walking behind Nono’s Steak House in a hunting jacket while carrying a riffle.

At 9:09 p.m. a caller reported a vehicle was stuck under the guard rail near the Tedeschi’s on Rockland Street.

At 10:22 a.m. a caller reported two vehicles with suspicious teens in them had stopped at the intersection of Cushing Street and Derby Street.

At 10:30 p.m. a caller reported hearing sounds of a coyote attack on South Street.
