Police Log: Porta Potty Stolen, Dog Hit By Car, Garage Vandalized

The following is an excerpt from the Hingham Police Log from Monday, April 9 to Tuesday, April 10. The following information was supplied by the Hingham Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, April 9:

At 1:54 p.m. a caller on Cushing Street reported she found her belongings outside of her home.  SEE FULL STORY.

At 5:54 p.m. a caller on Myers Farm Road reported that his house had been renovated for three months, and jewelry was stolen from the home during that time.

At 6:43 p.m. a caller on Accord Lane reported a dead coyote was found on his lawn. Animal Control was contacted.

At 8:34 p.m. a caller reported he struck a dog on Main Street with his vehicle and the dog is still alive.  The dog owner, who lives on Prospect Street, was contacted. Animal Control was also contacted.

Tuesday, April 10:

At 5:52 a.m. a caller on North Street reported vandalism to his garage was committed overnight.  The caller reported there was graffiti  spray painted on the garage.

At 9:30 a.m. a caller on Daley Road reported jewelry was missing from the home.

At 10:27 a.m.  a contractor reported a porta-potty was stolen from the area of 987 Main Street.
