Police Log: Shoplifter With Child, Food Thrower Cause Trouble at Derby Street Shoppes

Sunday, May 5:

At 2:40 p.m. police arrested Valerie Germain, 36 of Abington for larceny over $250 at the Shoe Market at the Derby Street Shoppes.  The suspect was with a four year-old child when she was arrested.

At 9:48 p.m. a caller reported a customer at the Panera Bread at the Derby Street Shoppes was throwing food at cars.

Monday, May 6:

At 1:44 a.m. police arrested a 27-year-old Boston man for driving with a suspended license.

At 3:49 a.m. a caller on High Street reported her Jeep was stolen out of her driveway.

At 8:30 a.m.  a caller on Pinecrest Road reported her garage was broken-into overnight.

At 1:44 p.m. a caller reported a female shoplifter was detained at Kohl’s Department Store.

At 5:11 p.m. a caller on Leavitt Street reported a female took her wheelbarrow without asking and later returned it.

At 10:25 p.m. police arrested a 34-year-old Dorchester man for driving with a suspended license.
