Police Log: Stolen Bike, OUI Arrest After Hit-and-Run, and More

June 8

6:14 p.m. - A caller on Great Rock Road reported solicitors that rang her doorbell. She said she saw one of the solicitors reach for the doorknob when she was heading towards the door. The solicitors said they were from PBS.

7:57 p.m. - A stolen trailer was reported on Central Street.

June 9

4:53 p.m. - A caller reported a stolen bike at the Nantasket Junction train station.

June 10

6:38 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Main Street, Manuel Utizhubgo, 39, of Fall River, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a marked lanes violation.

1:30 p.m. - An employee at the Stop & Shop on Lincoln Street reported a hit and run. After a customer supplied the plate number to police, Gail Pierce, 51, of Hingham, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor (second offense), operating negligently to endanger, and shoplifting by asportation.

3:45 p.m. - After a car crash by Ocean Kai on Lincoln Street, James Reardon, 61, of Dorchester, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and operating negligently to endanger.

8:10 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop near Rite-Aid on Lincoln Street, Max Disla, 22, of Pawtucket R.I., was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a miscellaneous equipment violation.
