Police Log: Suspicious Man Takes Photo of Hingham Kids, Electronics Stolen From Vehicles

The following excerpts are from the Hingham police log from May 17-19. The arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, May 17:

At 12:38 a.m. a caller reported a group of 10-15 youths screaming on Hersey Street.

At 8:01 a.m. a caller reported two vehicles were broken into overnight on Isaac Sprague Drive and an iPod and Ipad were stolen.

At 10:21 a.m. police arrested a 27-year-old Randolph woman for driving without a license on Main Street.

At 2:45 p.m. a caller reported a vehicle was entered overnight on Hillside Terrace and cash and a pack of cigarettes were stolen.

At 6:10 p.m. a vehicle struck an MBTA bus at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Crow Point Lane.

At 8:16 p.m. police arrested Jonathan Logan, 38, of Weymouth on Fort Hill Street for larceny over $250.

At 9:17 p.m. a caller reported he overheard a conversation inside Brigham’s in which a group of boys were planning to make a gun out of a pipe and planned to harm a girl in Boston.

Saturday, May 18: 

At 10:29 a.m. police were called to the 1100 block of Main Street after a tire came off of a vehicle and struck another vehicle.

At 12:29 p.m. a caller reported a suspicious man in a white pick-up truck stopped and took a picture of his children selling lemonade on Tower Road.

At 6:29 p.m. police arrested a 37-year-old Mattapan man for driving with a suspended license on Martins Lane.

At 8:11 p.m. a caller reported a man fell into a bush on Hersey Street and was stuck.

At 11:41 p.m. a caller reported a loud party on Brewster Road.

Sunday, May 19:

At 2:18 a.m. a caller reported a man looking inside vehicles in the Hockley Drive living area.  When police arrived, they arrested Ethan Holbrook, age 22, of Weymouth for three counts of breaking and entering misdemeanor and one count of disturbing the peace.

At 3:39 p.m. a woman injured her shoulder in a two-car crash on Chief Justice Cushing Highway in front of the Sons of Italy.
