Police Log: Three Shoplifters Escape Paper Store, Intoxicated Man Arrives at Gas Station

Tuesday, May 7:

At 12:48 p.m. a caller reported a construction worker fell 25 feet from the construction site at the Hingham Middle School.  SEE STORY.

At 3:39 p.m. a caller reported a shoplifter at the Hingham Fruit Center Marketplace.

At 4:22 p.m. a caller reported fireworks being set off and kids breaking bottles on Hemlock Road.

At 8:14 p.m. an employee at the Paper Store at the Derby Stret Shoppes reported three shoplifters just left the store.

Wednesday, May 8:

At 11:46 a.m. a caller reported a turtle crossing Main Street near the Hingham Middle School and many vehicles were swerving to avoid hitting the animal.

At 10:00 p.m. a caller at the Super Petroleum on Summer Street reported an intoxicated man entered the gas station and said he needed an ambulance.
