Police Log: Two Lamborghinis Drag Race Through Hingham Neighborhood, Underwear Found in Woman's Shed

The following excerpt is from the Hingham police log from Saturday and Sunday, June 1-2. The arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, June 1:

At 12:28 a.m. a caller reported two Lamborghinis and some street bikes drag racing down Crow Point Lane.  One of the Lamborghinis was described as black and the other was orange.

At 1:48 a.m. police arrested a 21-year-old Mattapan woman on Lincoln Street for driving with a suspended license.

At 2:52 a.m. police arrested Michael Potter, age 39 of Dorchester for operating under the influence of alcohol on Broad Cove Road.

At 5:38 p.m. a caller reported two men smashed his BMW’s window on Summer Street.  The suspects were described as two black males.  One was wearing a white tank top and blue shorts and the other was wearing a white tank top.

At 5:57 p.m. a caller reported a car fire on Whiting Street. The Hingham Fire Department responded to the scene.

Sunday, June 2:

At 1:15 a.m. police arrested David Brand, 32 of Hanover for operating under the influence of alcohol on Main Street near Notre Dame Academy.

At 8:22 a.m. a caller on Crow Point Lane reported she found her shed door open and a pair of male underwear and shorts inside.

At 2:13 p.m. a caller reported a mulch fire in between the Fresh Market and Panera Bread.

At 3:04 p.m. a caller reported a huge limb fell on Broad Cove Road, blocking one lane of traffic.

At 3:52 p.m. a caller reported a dog bit a female in the leg on Volusia Road.

At 4:50 p.m. a caller reported a tree down on Burr Street.

At 8:17 p.m. a caller reported someone in a home on the 300 block of Main Street was shooting a BB gun from the home’s window.
