Police Say Burglar Cut Screen Window and Entered Hingham Home

A home in Crow Point was broken into this week. A computer was stolen.

Another Hingham home was entered this week, this time in Crow Point.

On Wednesday at 3 p.m. police were called to a home on Nokomis Road after a resident reported a break-in.

Police believe the suspect entered the home by cutting a screen and lifting up an unlocked side window. The suspect then exited out the side door, which the resident found unlocked,  police said.

Police said the suspect rummaged through the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen and allegedly stole a computer.

“The residents are still in the process of determining what else is missing,” police said in a statment.

The timeframe of the burglary is said to be between Sunday, August 18 at 3pm  though Wed. afternoon.

The incident comes a week after a home on Weathervane Court was broken into through the basement.
