REMINDER: Delayed Opening For Hingham High School and Middle School on Tuesday

Hingham High School and Middle School will hold a two-hour delay on Tuesday.

The Hingham High School and Middle School will hold a two-hour delay on Tuesday to make room for voters.

From 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday,  Hingham will hold their annual Town Election along with the special primary election for the US Senate seat.

“To help with the parking and the crowds, both the high school and middle school will delay their openings by two hours,” HHS principal Paula Girouard-McCann said in an email.

Milddle School principal Roggie Boddie said the delay will provide a safer passing time for students as many residents vote in the morning, when students are normally arriving at school.

Students that day will be dismissed at the regular times.

Precincts 1-4  will vote at Hingham High School, 17 Union Street
Precincts 5-6 will vote at Hingham Middle School, 1103 Main Street
Precinct 5A  will vote at The Oakleaf Clubhouse Building, 300 Linden Ponds Way
