(Boston) – Rep. Garrett J. Bradley today announced that he was able to insert $4,096,456 in spending requests for the town of Hingham into the Environmental Bond bill approved on Wednesday, June 4 by the House of Representatives. The money would fund stormwater and rivershed management, seawall, and solar energy projects in the town.
These projects are designed to protect the town from storms and better manage our local rivers and watershed, while exploring the potential for solar energy solutions. I applaud Senior Planner/Conservation Officer Abby Piersall and Town Administrator Ted Alexiades for their efforts to prepare the list of priorities and cost estimates on behalf of the town.
