The Hingham Mothers' Club is hosting a school spirit contest at the 10th Annual Festival of Trees during Christmas in the Square. Friends and family are asked to show support for their school/favorite tree with cash contributions. The school with the "most spirit" that has raised the most money for charity wins.   The competition will be held Friday night from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Old Derby on Main Street.  Schools all over town are getting into the spirit and decorating trees, wreaths, and gingerbread houses. Half of the proceeds raised by the winning school will be donated back to the school.
